Ex-Browns star Josh Cribbs is in hot water with some Cleveland fans after reportedly dissing the team in an article.
The former Kent State standout recently signed with the New York Jets as a wide receiver and kick returner.
But his first game with the Jets was a blowout loss and afterward he was quoted by Newsday as saying, “We’re not the Browns. We’re not the team that gives up.”
Cribbs, who was a regular on NewsChannel5′s DAWGS on the Run mobilecast , turned to Twitter to defend himself.
Late Monday night he tweeted, “Wow Browns fans why all the hate? Years of loyalty & one miss quote in an article an u now wish the worst 4me?”
