CLEVELAND – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, RTA, and Cuyahoga Community College are teaming up to offer Tri-C students unlimited RTA rides with their classes.

This includes bus service, the rapid and the HealthLine buses.

Tri-C is planning to implement the program for its spring semester. Right now, it’s scheduled to last for 18 months.

Here’s how it works. Registered students who have paid or made payments arrangements for one academic credit hour or more, a semester-long unlimited ridership pass, called the U-pass.

Both RTA and the Tri-C boards have to approve the venture and both will vote in December.
