CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Renovation crews began work Tuesday on the south side restrooms at the City of Cleveland’s historic West Side Market.

While these improvements are being made, the Market’s north side restrooms will remain open to the public.
Signs are posted to help assist visitors and customers locate the north side restrooms.
This project will be a complete remodeling of the south side bathrooms and include replacement of underground piping, electrical switchgears, installment of sewage ejection pumps and major grease interceptors, re-roofing, lighting and electrical upgrades, masonry repairs, and door replacements.

These improvements are being made to increase the overall visitor experience at the West Side Market and maintain its status as the premiere public market in the country.
