“Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts on Monday addressed her recent coming out and revealed a photo of herself with her girlfriend Amber.
“I’m going to tell you all this, because you have had a front row seat for that tumultuous year,” Roberts said. “I have never been happier or healthier than I am right now.”
Roberts first revealed her relationship with Amber in a year-end Facebook post about her recovery from last year’s bone marrow transplant.
“My year-end post was just full of gratitude and just telling everyone all that I’m grateful for, including my girlfriend, Amber, who loved me through a very difficult year,” Roberts said this morning.
“I’m very happy for the support and it’s just letting everybody know: reflect on what got you to where you are and be grateful for it,” Roberts said.
