Trinity Broadcasting Network will honor Martin Luther King Day on January 20 with a poignant, two-hour documentary remembering the catastrophic September 15 1963 bombing at Birmingham, Alabama’s 16th Street Baptist Church that killed four African-American girls and shook America’s attention, marking a major change in the nation’s momentous civil rights struggle.

The documentary which includes segments from two powerful programs produced by TBN last September in Birmingham to remember the 50th anniversary of the bombing and the start of the civil rights movement, according to a press release.The documentary will also feature original footage of major civil rights events and speeches by Dr. King, and will be comprised of interviews with leaders like Dr. Bernice King, daughter of civil rights trailblazer Dr. Martin Luther King, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Birmingham Mayor William Bell, Alabama U.S. Congresswoman Terri Sewell, Texas U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, comedian and actor Bill Cosby, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, and countless other prominent people.
