Columbine

The school where 12 students and a teacher were killed and 26 students were injured, just recently had its lockdown lifted after four hours.

LITTLETON, Colo. — Police were investigating a threat at Columbine High School shortly after 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jefferson County Public Schools said.

No injuries or obvious danger were reported, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said. They characterized the threats, received via phone, as “generic.”

Columbine-area schools were on precautionary lockout status, the district said. This means no one is allowed in or out, but classes go on as normal inside.
