Mother nature was in a bad mood, but that did not spoil the day one bit for many young athletes.
Wednesday is National Letter of Intent Day, and there were plenty of kids and families enjoying a big moment.
Ten years ago, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. was signing his national letter of intent to play football at Ohio State University. Wednesday, he watched as Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith signed their letters of intent to join Urban Meyer in Columbus.
“It’s a dream come true since I was young. I wanted to play football or college football and maybe the NFL and this is just the next step for me,” said Marson Lattimore.
“Growing up we watched Glenville, and Glenville led us to Ohio State so it’s more like following our dream,” Erick Smith said.
