Much of northeast Ohio area was represented at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with a colossal 8,000 Clevelanders, and some tourists, going through the doors Sunday, Feb. 23.

A call to Todd Mesek V.P. of marketing and communications tells us turnout was phenomenal.

“The audience is all over the maps in terms of measure. We saw people from Cleveland and all of the surrounding areas, babies in stroller and senior citizens,” Mesek relayed to 19 Action News. “We have this phenomenal Stones exhibit and for theCleveland Foundation to open this up for free made this a very good day.”

The Cleveland Foundation formed in January 1914.

A group of dignified business leaders and philanthropists joined  together for the betterment of Cleveland.

To mark their 100 year anniversary they gifted the community free admission to the Great Lakes Science Center Saturday, Feb. 22 and to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Sunday, Feb. 23.
