LeBron James

AKRON, OH (WOIO) –

The LeBron James Family Foundation will fulfill the final component of LeBron James’ commitment to his high school, St. Vincent – St. Mary in Akron, by debuting the brand new Nike spring sports uniforms.

STVM’s baseball, softball, and men’s tennis teams will receive the fitted uniforms during a movie night at a local cinema including a special screening of the inspirational movie “The Blind Side.”

In all, LeBron and his Foundation donated more than $200,000 in team uniforms and coaches shirts to fulfill James’ promise.

“I’m excited to be in a position to help my alma mater become one of the best-dressed high schools in the country,” said James, STVM class of 2003. “I’ve always said that when you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you play great and that’s what Irish pride is all about.”
