(WOIO) –

A major storm system will be moving through Wednesday and possibly give us our worst winter storm this year.

It will start out as rain tonight with the heaviest rain falling overnight. Much colder air will filter in tomorrow and that will quickly change the rain to snow in the morning from north to south.

Very strong winds will be out of the north with near 50 mph gusts possible along the lakeshore counties. Blizzard conditions will create near impossible travel conditions once the snow starts.
