There’s some good news for job seekers around northeast Ohio. Two employers are trying to fill thousands of positions with really big job fairs this week.
Urban Farmer, a new Cleveland restaurant, is recruiting for 200 jobs, including line cooks, server staff, bartenders and more. They’re welcoming applicants, who are encouraged to bring resumes and come prepared for interviews, on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cleveland Public Auditorium & Conference Center at 500 Lakeside Avenue East.
This Saturday, March 29, Cedar Point opens from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to hire more than 5,000 people for over 70 different kinds of jobs.
Cedar Point employees can get free admittance all summer long, low-cost employee housing (if qualified), appreciation events and a recreation center, among other things. College students can apply for paid internship positions for college credit.
