When Reach Records Christian Hip Hop artist Tedashii “Tdot” Anderson told EEW Magazine why he raps, one of the reasons was to “create a worldview for my son to have so he can understand biblical manhood.”

The Texas-based husband and father was devastated by tragedy with the sudden death of his one-year-old son in March 2013. In a new single, “Dark Days, Darker Nights,” featuring Britt Nicole, he talks about it.

“My days be long/nights seem long/call on the help and nobody is home/all by myself and I feel so alone,” Tedashii raps passionately, reflecting on his pain.

In an explanation of the lead single from his forthcoming 4th album “Below Paradise” posted on his label’s website, Tedashii writes, “The loss of my son changed me forever. I experienced grief and sorrow to the depth of my soul.”
