St. Augustine Church and Hunger Center helps the homeless of northeast Ohio in many ways. But it’s their hunger center that most people are familiar with.

This Easter, over 9,000 meals will be served to those in need. While its hunger center in Tremont is fully staffed, it’s their surrounding locations that are still short on volunteers.

“We’re doing seventeen different centers this year. East and west side. I have four or five centers where I do not have enough volunteers” said Sister Corita Ambro, Director of the St. Augustine Hunger Center.

St. Augustine Church is also short on drivers. Many people seeking a meal are unable to go to one of the centers. St. Augustine need volunteers to deliver the food to them.

Lastly, Sister Corita could use a little help to make this Easter a special one for those in need.
