American Airlines says it will begin daily non-stop service to Phoenix out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport this fall.
The American Airlines service will begin on October 3. Phoenix is one of the 39 routes being dropped by United Airlines as a result of the its decision to not continue using Cleveland as a hub.
“We’re pleased to have the new American Airlines announce service from CLE to their Phoenix (PHX) hub. Not only does it add service to a popular Cleveland market but also connecting service across the Western US,” said Airport Director Ricky Smith.
