Maybe it sounds disgusting, but the CEO of Levi’s suggests you should not wash your blue jeans.
Wearing a pair of jeans that he said were never washed, CEO Chip Bergh talked about fashion and sustainability at Fortune’s Brainstorm Green conference Tuesday.
“These jeans are maybe a year old and these have yet to see a washing machine,” he said.
He continued, “You can spot clean it, you can air dry it, it’s fine. I’ve yet to get a skin disease or anything else.”
