Gordon Food Service Marketplace, which services Ohio, has been added to the list of retailers that may have received ground beef that may be contaminated with E. coli.

On May 19, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the massive recall of 1.8 million pounds of ground beef from Wolverine Packing Company, a Detroit establishment.

The ground beef products were produced between March 31 and April 18. The affected products bear the establishment number of EST. 2574B.

The beef was shipped to distributors for restaurant and retail use nationwide.
