missing teen

Police Chief Michael Cardilli tells WKYC that Chaday Lentes, the 15-year-old missing teen, has been found and is being checked at a local hospital.

A “Peace in the Hood” member says she was found at a Taco Bell on Lee Road.

In a WKYC report Monday night, Reporter Lynna Lai said the search for a missing East Cleveland teen took a troubling turn, after the mother of 15-year old Chaday Lentes received disturbing text messages last weekend.

Lakeya Williams says the messages came from her daughter’s cell phone. They read,”I killed yo baby b–ch. Thats y she not comein back.”

Lentes disappeared May 30, last seen leaving her East Cleveland home for a friend’s house, but she never arrived there. She’s described as African-American, about 5’2″ tall, weighing 168 pounds, with light brown complexion, and shoulder-length brown hair.

Williams is frustrated with what she sees, is a lack of response and action from the East Cleveland Police Department.
