Sounds and sights of red, white and blue filled Public Square Wednesday night. The Cleveland Orchestra performed its 25th annual free community concert.

The Star-Spangled Spectacular in downtown Cleveland started at 5 p.m. and the performance began at 9 p.m. Thousands showed up to experience the annual tradition. The Cleveland Orchestra performed a program of patriotic favorites, including the Star Spangled Banner, The Battle Hymn of the Republic and John Philip Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever.

The concert was followed with a fireworks display set against the Huntington Building.
