Ohio City is becoming a popular place to live and play, especially for 20-somethings who prefer a downtown way of life, like Rakesh Guha.

About 23 percent of all millennials, like Guha, don’t drive.

That makes getting to Ohio City from downtown Cleveland an exercise in resourcefulness for the 23-year-old entrepreneur.

“Sometimes I’d have to miss out but otherwise, I’d try and bike down or get an Uber or a cab or something,” Guha told Fox8’s Lorrie Taylor.

Millennials represent a growing customer base for the Regional Transit Authority. Their numbers have not gone unnoticed by RTA leadership, who introduced the Ohio City Connector to the public on Wednesday.

“This is a great amenity to provide services for them, because if we can’t retain our existing millennials and attract new millennials, that’s really gonna help shape Cleveland’s future,” said Joseph Calabrese, RTA CEO and general manager.
