It has all the makings of a real Browns football game: the cameras, the mascot, the smoke, and most importantly, the players and instant replay.

But it wasn’t an actual game on the field, nor were they actual Brown’s players. At least not yet.

“Just being out there with your team… makes you feel like a pro,” said Glenville High School football player Victor Glenn.

“It’s a big motivation for me, and I’d just be happy if I could play on this field one day,” said player Leshon Humphrey.

Humphrey and Glenn are two of nearly 100 players who took the field at FirstEnergy Stadium Thursday night. They got a moment to shine while the Browns tested out their two new video boards to make sure that the state-of-the-art control room and supercomputer are ready for the first home preseason game.
