A huge water main break has closed down Cedar Road from Murray Hill to MLK Drive in Cleveland.
Our NewsChannel5 crew on scene says water is quickly filling the street and a part of the road has lifted up about 3 feet as a result of the break. The area is just to the east of Case Western Reserve University and leads to University Circle and the Cleveladn Clinic.
Cleveland Police have closed down the road until further notice. The Cleveland Water Department is at the scene investigating.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area. Eastsiders will have to take Mayfield Road into Cleveland.
