A big development project may be both benefiting from and adding to downtown’s momentum.
It has a great marketing name: nuCLEus would be in the center of key downtown areas and help create a new vision of the city.
It’s a $300 million dollar project that includes a 30-story office tower, a parking garage and 500 apartments, plus shopping and restaurants.
It would go on the big parking lot between The Q and East 4th Street that was jumping last week to welcome back LeBron James.
It would connect the casino, Gateway, East Fourth Street, Playhouse Square and the Cleveland State neighborhood.
