Thanksgiving turkey prices are a little higher this year, but we’re trying to help you save money. We did our research checking out the best deals for the perfect bird in Northeast Ohio.

For .69 cents a pound, you can pick up a USDA grade “A” turkey at Giant Eagle with a $25 purchase. They’ll even match any competitor’s ads.

Marc’s is also offering .69 cents a pound for their Honeysuckle white turkey

With a $50 purchase, Dave’s Supermarketcomes in at. 69 cents a pound.

Aldi’s Butterball turkey is going for $1.19 a pound for a 10 to 22 pound turkey.

Finally, Heinens is $1.69 a pound for a frozen Butterball.

The stores are competitive, so you probably won’t notice the rise in turkey prices. There is a recent coupon out there for $3.00 off any Butterball turkey when you buy three participating items; Betty Crocker potatoes or stuffing, Green Giant canned vegetables, Pillsbury crescent rolls, or Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust. Another offer from Butterball, purchase a Butterball turkey and they will send you a $5.00 coupon.
