The family of Tamir Rice says the pain is still real, and they won’t rest until justice is served.
It has been four months since the 12-year old was shot and killed by police. They mistook Rice’s airsoft pistol for a real gun outside of the Cudell Recreation Center.
The case is under investigation by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department.
On Sunday, family and supporters gathered and spread the message that Tamir may be gone, but he’s not forgotten.
They gathered at the Cudell Recreation Center, then marched for a few miles to the Cleveland Police Department’s 1st District.
