Robin Roberts says she wouldn’t be here today without the nurses who took care of her during her battle with cancer, especially the woman who brought her back from the brink of death on one particularly painful night.

In a cover story for WebMd magazine, the Good Morning America co-anchor said it was a nurse named Jenny who she heard calling out to her from the edge of consciousness.

Daily Mail Online has now confirmed the identity of that nurse as Jenny Tran, a health care worker at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York.
