Christian First Lady Michelle Obama was welcomed to an East London school with cheers and celebration during her two-day visit to Britain.
The Harvard and Princeton graduate is campaigning for girls’ education through her Let Girls Learn initiative and promoting support for military families.
Cameras flashed, capturing Mrs. Obama hugging students while hosting an event at the Mulberry School for Girls in Tower Hamlets, to discuss more about her campaign.
The visit is geared toward boosting efforts to foster collaboration between the U.S. and the U.K., thereby increasing educational opportunities for adolescent girls around the world.
