When it comes to the criminal justice system, Geneva Reed-Veal, mother of Sandra Bland says, she has no faith in it, but has all faith in the One who reigns over it.
“I have confidence in God and knowing that He is in control and He is going to reveal the real truth,” she said in an interview with Al Sharpton.
“Confidence in man, I do not have at this point,” continued Reed-Veal during her appearance on Politics Nation. “I have confidence in what He’s going to allow to come to pass.”
Her 28-year-old daughter was laid to rest Saturday morning in Lisle, Illinois, approximately two weeks after she was found dead in a Texas jail cell.
