DONALD TRUMP

Trump towers: The Donald is (surprise) burning up all the political oxygen in the room for the umpteenth day in a row. On Monday he reignited his feud with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly — hurling more insults at her and retweeting a tweet that called her a “bimbo.” Then last night, during a news conference in Iowa, he demanded that she apologize to him (yeah, you read that right) for the questions she asked him during the first GOP debate. But he wasn’t finished. During this same news conference he got into a testy exchange with Univision anchor Jorge Ramos over Trump’s immigration plan. At one point Ramos was escorted out of the room, but he later returned and he and Trump continued to exchange pleasantries.

HIGH SCHOOL HOSTAGES

School shocker: To say this was scary would be the understatement of the year. A 14-year-old boyheld students and a teacher hostage yesterday at a school in West Virginia. He was armed with a pistol and held the students and teacher in a second-floor classroom. Thankfully, the teen — after some negotiations with authorities — freed his hostages and then later gave himself up without incident. Investigators are still trying to determine what led to all of this.

WHITE HOUSE TRESPASSER

Deadly end: Back in March he jumped a fence at the White House. Yesterday he was shot and killed after slashing a deputy with a knife. That pretty much sums up the last couple of months of life of Curtis Smith. Police said Smith attacked the deputy at the security entrance to a county courthouse in Pennsylvania. A second deputy drew a weapon and shot him. Smith climbed an outer stone wall near the White House earlier this year before the Secret Service caught him.
