Hollywood super star Denzel Washington is scheduled to appear at the Church Of God In Christ’s (COGIC) 108th Holy Convocation underway at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis.
The Academy Award winning actor is slated to give the keynote address at the Charity Ball Saturday afternoon. It is a ticketed affair that is sold out.
COGIC is known for bringing A-list celebrities to town.
In addition to Washington, Bishop T. D. Jakes, CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar and others are scheduled to appear at the week-long convention which is one of the biggest conventions held in St. Louis giving the city an economic boost.
