Teens often get a bad rap for being moody, selfish, or making poor choices. Not all teens have the same story.
In fact, there are a lot of young people out there that many consider unsung heroes. McDonald’s looks to recognize them through the McDonald’s Community Choice Youth Award, which honors exceptional teens who have made a big difference within their communities.
Two honorees (one male, one female) will be recognized at the McDonald’s 365Black Awards in New Orleans during the 22nd annual ESSENCE Festival on Friday, July 1 alongside celebrities, philanthropists and influencers. Each youth honoree will receive a $10,000 scholarship.
