Muhammad Ali returned to Louisville for the final time Sunday afternoon.
A private plane carrying Ali’s casket and family members touched down in Louisville around 4:30 p.m.
The flight from Arizona landed in Louisville and police escorted Ali’s body to AD Porter and Sons Funeral Home on Bardstown Road.
The family is holding a private ceremony on Thursday.
A public ceremony along with a procession will take place Friday at 2 p.m. at the KFC Yum Center.
Tickets to the public ceremony will be limited, but the ceremony will also be streamed online.
More information on the public service will be announced Monday morning.
