TV Land announced Monday that its first scripted comedy series, “Hot in Cleveland,” will premiere in June. The pilot episode was filmed in Los Angeles last month with Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves and Betty White.

None of the “Hot in Cleveland” stars is a stranger to sitcoms. Bertinelli played Barbara Cooper on “One Day at a Time.” Leeves was Daphne Moon on “Frasier.” And Malick portrayed Nina Van Horn on “Just Shoot Me.”

Although set in Northeast Ohio, “Hot in Cleveland” is being taped in the traditional three-camera sitcom format at a Los Angeles studio soundstage. White, a prime-time veteran whose credits include “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” has a recurring role in the comedy given a 10-episode order by TV Land.
