CLEVELAND, Ohio — Another member of the pack of robbers that ambushed and murdered one man and shot another in the head in a downtown park admitted his role in the crime Monday.
Perry King, 20, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for the death of Jeremy Pechanec in the plaza across from Scorchers bar on E. 12th street last Febraury 22. He also pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the shooting of Pechanec’s co-worker, Jory Aebly, who survived.
The charges could send him to prison for up to 20 years.
