A college student is facing charges for ripping off a university and you.
Charges have been filed in two cases against Cleveland State student Anthony Hall.
Cuyahoga County prosecutors tell 19 Action News that he worked in a mailroom and forged a $5,000 check sent to CSU by Westlake Schools for a conference. He deposited the check right into his bank account.
Prosecutors say he also had a grant to help him buy text books. Hall used the scholarship money to get the books then resold them for almost $3,000.
