The Cleveland SWAT team responded to home on Cleveland’s west side Monday night after a man allegedly shot someone and then barricaded himself inside his house.

The initial shooting occurred in the 4500 block of W. 168th St., where a 34-year-old man was shot in the head and then run over with a car. The victim, James Labaugh, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center and his condition is unknown at this time.

According to police, Labaugh was shot by 28-year-old Michael Tengler, of Cleveland, after a dispute over property. After the shooting, police said that Tengler got in his car, ran over Labaugh and fled the scene, returning to his home in the 4300 block of W. 189th Street.

The SWAT team was called to the scene, and after about one hour Tengler exited the home and shot himself in the head, according to the release from police.

Tengler was transported to Fairview Hospital, where he died from his injuries
