The Cleveland Indians will have to wait to clinch their first World Series Championship since 1948.
The Indians’ offense could not get the clutch hits with runners in scoring position late in Game 5 and starting pitcher Trevor Bauer allowed six hits, three earned runs and one home run, which led to a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Sunday night.
Despite the loss, the Indians still hold a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series with Game 6 scheduled to be played at Progressive Field in Cleveland Tuesday.
