Kent State University cut the ribbon on Wednesday, Sept. 12 on a new facility in Twinsburg.
The two-story, 44,000-square-foot Regional Academic Center is at 2745 Creekside Drive.
Center programs include traditional associate and baccalaureate degrees, master’s degrees, executive training programs, continuing education, workforce development and job training.
Kent State first established a center in Twinsburg in 1991 at the Daimler Chrysler Stamping Plant. In 1995, Daimler Chrysler opened the UAW Training Center at Routes 91 and 82.
Due to the continuing interest in higher education in this area and increasing enrollment, the new facility was built.
