The East Cleveland Library voted Tuesday night at its regularly scheduled meeting to temporarily close the East Cleveland Public Library System.
The library is scheduled to close at the end of business on Wednesday and anticipates reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010.
“This step is being taken as part of the board’s efforts to honor our fiduciary responsibility to the community and to balance the budget,” said Board President Chester Tucker.
