BROOKLYN, Ohio – Quick action by a group of Best Buy employees may have helped save a toddler’s life.

Various workers at the Brooklyn, Ohio, Best Buy store assisted when a panicked family ran inside the store with a toddler, who appeared to be not breathing.

The staff immediately called 911, and then performed CPR.

Minutes later, the Brooklyn emergency squad transported the child to MetroHealth Medical Center. According to Brooklyn Fire Department personnel, the 18-month-old boy was alert and crying during the ambulance ride.

The Best Buy employees who performed CPR said they have received training in the lifesaving technique.
