They’re calling it McDonalds first ever national hiring day.
On April 19th they’re looking to hire 50,000 new employees nationwide and a thousand at McDonalds locations around northeast Ohio.
McDonalds wouldn’t tell us exactly how much they pay their workers, but just the prospect of a job is attractive to these young people.
“It seems like a good environment to work in. I mean anything is good right now, it puts money in your pocket instead of being out here doing drugs and stupid things like that,” said customer Adrian Danner.
“I think it’s a good opportunity for blacks because a lot of blacks have been fired from their jobs,” said customer Dariel Duncan.
McDonalds is looking for new employees of all ages and of course all races. Full time and part time, they offer flexible hours, training, and medical benefits even for some part time employees.
