CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The violent crime rate has significantly decreased in the City of Cleveland since 2006. In 2010, there was a reported 6,110 violent crimes compared to the 7,734 crimes that were reported in 2006. There has been a 21% decrease in violent crimes in these four years.
Thus far, there have been 2,025 crimes reported in 2011. Based on this number, the crime rate in the City of Cleveland will continue to decline.
