WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – Twelve men were taken into custody after Willoughby police carried out an operation targeting prostitution customers.

Police said detectives placed an ad offering adult services for a special rate of $100 for a half hour on a website frequently used by prostitutes.

The men who responded to the ad were taken into custody without incident after entering a motel expecting to meet a 20-year-old woman.

All 12 men were charged with soliciting and criminal tools.
