CLEVELAND – Cleveland’s own hero Charles Ramsey is being honored with a statue in his likeness in Kentucky and we’re now seeing what his bust will look like.

The photo is sent from us by Matt Jones, who is covering the story in Stanville, Kentucky, where Ramsey is making an appearance at the law firm of Eric C. Conn Friday.

“I can’t think of a better way to commend my friend Charles than having a statue made in his honor,” Conn, who is known for his love of statues, said in a news release.

After its unveiling in Kentucky, the statue is set to be donated to a Cleveland museum.

Friday’s event is scheduled to take place between noon and 2 p.m.

Ramsey has become a global sensation for his role in the rescue of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, the three women found alive after nearly a decade in a Cleveland home.
