Akron Police Shut Down Gambling Operation, Sieze $11K & Stolen Gun

Police in Akron, Ohio have shut down an illegal gambling operation.
According to the Akron police department, more than $11 thousand, a stolen gun, multiple gambling machines, and TVs were seized.
The alleged crime reportedly occurred near the corner of East Avenue and Harpster Avenue.

Once inside, authorities detained several individuals and seized over a dozen electronic gambling machines, $11,000 in cash, multiple televisions, several cell phones, a loaded stolen handgun, and other items.
Police say they arrested three men on the scene on charges of illegal gambling.
None of the suspects’ names have been released.
