CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

On February 7th, the Cleveland Animal Protective League will turn 100 years old.  The organization is looking back on each and every happy ending that has been created since 1913 for animals adopted from the Cleveland APL and their loving families.

To celebrate 100 years of match-making and to continue our tradition of creating “happily ever afters” for pets and their people, the APL is reducing adoption fees.

Beginning on Thursday, February 7, 2013, and going through Sunday, February 10, 2013, all adult cats (5 months and over) will be available for adoption for only $19.13 and all adult dogs (5 months and over) will be available for only $50.  (Regular adoption fees are $45 for cats and $95 for dogs.)

If you take in four or more cans of puppy or kitten food you’ll receive $20 off the adoption fee of a puppy or kitten.
