19 Action News has learned 363 teachers who were laid off and then recalled may not be laid off again as originally planned.

The Cleveland School Board announced Tuesday night they will possibly keep all 363 of them for the entire school year.

But while these teachers will keep their jobs, the school board says they still have to make cuts.

So where will those cuts be made? We still don’t know.

You may recall, in mid-August the Board of Education of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District took action to approve CEO Eric Gordon’s recommendation to lay off nearly 350 teachers. The action enabled the District to align its teaching staff with 2011 student enrollment and maintain its commitment to a balanced budget through June 30, 2013.
