The Broadway musical AMAZING GRACE, which launched its successful national tour last year with an eight-week run at The Museum of the Bible, will return with its inspirational message as the Museum’s newest installation in its Pure Flix World Stages. It will begin performances on March 16 and run through August 18, 2019. Written by Christopher Smith and Arthur Giron with direction by Gabriel Barre and choreography/fight direction by J. Clayton Winters, this production will be an updated 90 minute, one-act version created specifically for the Museum of the Bible.
AMAZING GRACE is an “unforgettable musical saga” depicting the conversion of John Newton the composer of the song “Amazing Grace” from a career as a brutal slave trader to a committed reformer, abolitionist, and Christian who would ultimately pen the “hymn of hymns.”
