Friday, Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, is asking for the public’s help in locating a witness to a homicide. Robert L. Dillard III is a material witness in the murder of Eric Copley.

On Friday, March 14, 2008, Mr. Copley was shot in the chest and his body was found at 1075 E.76th Street lying on the sidewalk.

Dillard’s last known address is in the 900 block of E.128th Street in Cleveland. He is known to frequent Cleveland’s northeast side primarily the St. Clair area from E. 79th to E. 128th. There is currently an order to appear in the Honorable Judge Michael Astrab’s courtroom for Dillard.
