ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The owners of Main Street Cupcakes were shaken but not stirred after finding out British intelligence used one of their most popular cupcakes as a weapon in the war on terror.
“No one want to be associated in any capacity to have your name written in the same paragraph as the words Al Quaeda,” said co-owner Sarah Forrer.
In a cyber attack called “operation cupcake”, British intelligence hacked into an al-qaeda website and swapped homemade bomb instructions with cupcake recipes. Main Street’s mojito, and white rum cake with lime and mint, were prominently featured.
“We always call our Mojito cupcake the bomb but it certainly has nothing to do with creating bombs,” said Forrer.
