The AJC reports that Dwight Eubanks was arrested last week after being stopped in Atlanta with a faulty car headlight. Typically a headlight outage wouldn’t get you arrested–just a ticket. But since he was also driving on a suspended license–he was arrested on spot and charged with driving on a suspended license.
Officers were patrolling the area of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard on Dec. 14 when they saw a Chevy Tahoe with the driver’s side headlight out, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee told the AJC on Monday. They stopped the vehicle and spoke to Eubanks, who told them he did not have his license with him, the spokesman said.
When authorities checked, they found out his license had been suspended, Chafee said. He was arrested and charged.
Oh Dwight. Oh how your big purple star has fallen….
